What does Dole Plantation have to offer for educational groups?

Ride, Plantation Garden Tour, Pineapple Garden Maze, as well as variety

	Why go to Dole Plantation over other educational tour options? Dole Plantation's educational tour focuses on agriculture, the history of pineapples in Hawaii and how agriculture in Hawaii has changed from the old plantation days of pineapple and sugar to what is much more diversified today. Dole Plantation's reasonable prices and variety of fun and educational activities make it a great experience for young and old alike. Flexible packages are a plus. And you can spend as much time as you want at the plantation, from an hour to the whole day!

	Do you have set tour packages? There are no set tour packages. All activities are ala carte, allowing you the flexibility to pick and choose what you want.

Do you have staff who can lead tours?
A staff member will greet your tour and escort you to the various activities
you selected. The Plantation Garden Tour includes a knowledgeable guide
to walk groups through the gardens while the train ride offers an audio
tour as you ride through the fields.

How would someone arrange an educational tour?
Visit our request form, fill it out and send your request, and a Dole
Plantation Groups representative will contact you to finalize your details.

How long is the tour?
The tour will vary in length depending on the activities you select. The Plantation Garden Tour takes approximately one hour to complete. The Pineapple Garden Maze, on average, takes 40 minutes to finish. The
Pineapple Express Train ride lasts 20 minutes. A minimum of one hour is suggested for the Pineapple Express Train ride and pineapple cutting demonstration combination.

What type of groups do you accommodate?
At student rates, we welcome school children ages 4-17, church youth
groups, boy scouts and girl scouts and student sports teams. Student
rates apply to Hawaii residents only. Non-student groups are welcome. Contact us for rates.
